The 2019 edition of The Texas Scientist includes a feature article all about the Inventors Program. As the article explains, "The new Inventors Program teaches STEM students skills they might not learn in the lab but that they’ll need to be ready to take the startup world by storm."
In 2017, The Daily Texan described the program as it was first beginning in the College of Natural Sciences. The program has since expanded with multiple partners, a sophisticated curriculum and new partnerships in the Cockrell School of Engineering.
